Tables lined the length of a grand hall, roses were grouped and placed along them, and a menu of lamb shank shepherd's pie served before a plentiful serving of [L'Wren] Scott's high-octane glamour... - Jessica Bumpus, Vogue UK
As tweeted, I'm all kinds of smitten by L’Wren Scott’s Fall 2013 RTW show. The collection, inspired by artist Gustav Klimt, is so glamorous it hurts – much like a super-sweet piece of chocolate cake. L'Wren was specifically inspired by Klimt's 'Golden Phase,' not only using gold leaf, fabrics, thread, and sequins, but patterns reminiscent of his famous paintings. Despite all of this decadence, the collection is totally wearable. A gold leather skirt? Sure! Why not?!
