Glam it up: Homemint

With so many new developments in the design world, it's getting harder and harder to settle on blog topics. Which to choose? Jason Wu for Canvas? Intriguing, but not totally unexpected considering his recent collaboration with Brizo. The new Mercedes-Benz Home Collection was definitely a contender but, then again, the leap from designing leather seats to designing leather seats isn't that far. And so I decided to write about a design story that I just can't shake. My brow furls at the thought - Justin Timberlake for HomeMint.

If you haven't heard, JT has partnered with designer Estee Stanley to design and curate a home collection for the shopping site HomeMint. According to an Elle Decor interview, the endeavor is a natural extension of previous projects with Estee. Perhaps, but the mere sight of him reviewing fabric swatches boggles my mind. I'm not sure if the design train is becoming a hot ride or if we're all simply getting older.

Whatever the case, here's a sample of what the two are working on:

To make matters even more interesting, I stumbled upon Justin Timberlake's Pinterest board. Mr. Sexy-back-falsetto-singing-comedic-actor-dancing-machine is pinning! He’s pinning, people! I can’t be the only one shocked by all of this.

Am I?
