Interiors: Chassie Post's Technicolor Aviary

First, have you checked out Billie? If nay, head on over! The online mag has some interesting content, including a recent feature on Chassie Post’s New York digs or, as she puts it, her "technicolor aviary." Filled with birds and butterflies, it may be the most whimsical loft in the city.

In a rather unconventional approach, Chassie papered nearly every wall in Schumacher’s Birds and Butterflies. "I am by nature a maximalist. My modus operandi is to invest in the walls." With the help of designer friend Miles Redd, she then filled the space with hand-me-downs, modern furniture, art, and anything else that makes her happy. After all, shouldn't a home do just that?
