Harper’s Bazaar takes us inside the eclectic Manhattan loft of Carolina Herrera’s daughter, Patricia. By renovating her husband’s former bachelor pad, Patricia created a family-friendly home filled with color and texture. "I don’t want a house that’s overrun by children’s toys, but I don’t want a house where my kids feel like they can’t jump on a couch." The HB shoot is also part fashion spread and family portrait session, featuring sister Carolina and gowns designed by mom.
(Above) I think this shot is particularly lovely. Patricia, left, sits with sister Carolina wearing my favorite look from their mother’s Spring 2013 collection. (Below) A Damian Loeb painting hangs above a custom-made dining table. Patricia found the dining chairs at auction.
Carolina reclines in her sister’s study. The room shows Patricia’s love of textiles which she buys in bulk, "My favorite thing is to scour the D&D Building. Sometimes I’ll just buy bolts of fabric and keep them in hopes that I’ll use them."
(Above) Patricia with her children. She notes, "My house is equal parts roller rink and space for entertaining. I think you have to have a place where your children can run around freely."
